ineffective air conditioning slow elevators
I found THE air conditioning system to be quite ineffective. Despite multiple complaints from guests, the staff insisted it was functioning properly, frustrating. the elevators were noticeably slow. I often waited an unreasonable amount of time, especially during peak hours when everyone seemed to be going to the rooftop bar.

The location is convenient, especially for exploring the harbor area. The rooftop bar offers excellent views and a good selection of drinks. Staff members are friendly and helpful throughout the hotel.
The air conditioning did not work well. The noise from the traffic was bothersome, even with the balcony door closed. The toilet paper provided was thin and insufficient.

Really good stay
friendly staff ample breakfast super clean room
My three nights were upgraded with an upgrade upon check-in. Staff were helpful. They were polite and friendly. I appreciated the porters assisting with luggage. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The room was super clean. it had a minor limitation regarding storage space.
I did find the lift system slightly unusual. You enter your floor number and it directs you to a specific lift.

dusty air conditioning small pool
The location was great, and the staff was helpful.
I was disappointed that the air conditioning seemed to blow out dust. This gave me breathing issues. The rooftop pool was small with hardly any beds, so I didn't use it. This made it pointless. It felt more like a water feature.

entry fee inconsistent air conditioning
the rooftop bar charges an entry fee, i didn't expect that. it's supposedly deducted from your drink bill, but that felt a bit misleading. also, the air conditioning seemed to have a mind of its own. it wasn't consistent at all, and i found myself adjusting it constantly.
